What is OCTD?

Our Chance to Dance aims to empower, connect, and heal using dance as a means of self-expression and growth.

Once you enter the world of dance, it’s easy to see how widespread the benefits are and how powerfully unifying dance can be. We want to increase accessibility to dance to communities that traditionally have not had access, in a fun and engaging way. We also want to expose people to different forms of dance, whether it’s ballet, traditional Indian dance, or even just dance where you play music and jam out in your bedroom! Dance is something so innate that anyone can engage, no matter age or your background.

We currently host workshops for the Central Institute for the Deaf, Siteman Cancer Center, and The Women's Safe House in St. Louis, but we plan on expanding to more locations in the future!
