“I’d say in middle school, in general I was the quietest guy ever. I would never be the guy to present. I hated presentation in front of class because I did not like public speaking. Dance

was a way I could stand in front of the whole school and do what i think i do best. It opened me up to be a more outgoing person than I was before. It helped me grow as a person in general. Now, I have less fear showing something I can do. I have more confidence in myself as a person and what my capabilities are. I was also more open to new ideas because there are diff genres of music and I just try diff ones. That goes the same thing with life. I will try different classes or different suggestions. If I’m in a conversation, I won’t be one-sided in an argument and it’s just small things like that I’ve learned from dance.”
